Fiji Industries Limited has assured that cement supply around the country will normalize later today.

Acting sales manager Anish Singh said all hardware companies were notified yesterday after cement was milled over the weekend.

Singh added some companies were supplied with cement last week.

Construction companies and hardware companies around the country are hopeful that the supply of cement will normalize from today as promised by Fiji Industries.

For over a month, people have been facing shortage of cement and as a result, hardware companies have seen a drop in other sales also.

Vinod Patel’s Suva branch manager Umesh Prasad said some customers are getting frustrated as many construction jobs associated with cement have stopped.
