Director for GMR Muhammed and Sons, Mohammed Umar Faruk said they have seen a drop in sales by 20% with cement sales and other hardware sales affected.
He said labour responsible for loading and unloading are being utilized in other fields of work.
RC Manubhai manager is hopeful that cement supply will be normalised later today as their trucks have gone to get new supply.
Fijian Holdings Limited Chief Executive Sereana Qoro said earlier that Fiji Industries Limited has brought in a shipment today and another shipment is expected next Tuesday totalling 2060 tonnes for customers.
