The lone representative from the Hawaiian ex-Grammarian scholars association said he wishes that the remainder of the forty plus members back in Hawaii were able to make it to the Golden Jubilee Celebrations as it is truly a memorable event.
Sefesi Taufa who is part of the 80's decade said he has attended all the events since Sunday.
Taufa said one of the best lessons learnt from his time at Suva Grammar is based on the school motto which has taught past and current students that anything is possible if you work hard.
Another ex-scholar from the 70's decade who came from New South Wales said being back at Suva Grammar has brought memories of his time in school which were not easy at times.
Joeli said coming straight out of an all Fijian school into Suva Grammar was a shock, but he got through thanks to the support of the seniors in school which he says is an integral part of being a Grammarian.
The Suva Grammar School Golden Jubilee Celebrations continues today with the handing over of library books to the school by the New Zealand Grammarians at 2pm, and the 80's decade hosting a Night at the Museum event from 6pm.
