The Fiji Rugby Union has appointed Nacanieli Cawanibuka as national 15's rugby trainer, replacing Henry Elder who finished his employment with the national body on 9th May.
Cawanibuka was a member of the FRU's Rugby World Cup management team last year and has been working with the Digicel Fiji 7s team this season.
Speaking to Legend FM sports, Cawanibuka says as challenging as the role will be, he is ready to give it his best shot.
A former Fiji U 21 rep, Cawanibuka was also part of the Fiji 7s team in the 2001-02 IRB 7s series playing in Malaysia, Japan, England, Wales and South Africa.
He also featured for the Fiji Emerging XV team that played against the Northern Bulls in Lautoka in 2001.
