France based winger Rupeni Caucau's inclusion in the Digicel Fiji 7s team will be known next Tuesday when Coach Josateki Savou meets with the FRU Games Committee.
Savou is still in the dark on whether Caucau has shown interest to play for Fiji through the FRU as he has not spoken to him - but, he has welcomed the Bua flyer to the team if he is available for Hong Kong.
He added that while the selection criteria requires those who are vying for a spot in the 12 member team to play in the Marist 7s to be considered, Caucau is a world class player and the FRU Games Committee could look for avenues to accommodate him in the team to Hong Kong.
The 12 member Fiji 7s team to Hong Kong will be named after the Marist 7s on the 8th of next month.
