There is a clear indication now that Bua flyer Rupeni Caucau will not join any overseas club till the end of the Melrose Cup defence in Dubai next year.
While the battle for the holy grail in 7's rugby is still 6 months to go, Digicel Fiji 7's coach Waisale Serevi has confirmed he has spoken to Caucau at length on what his plans will be in the near future and it is likely that any contract abroad will be put on hold.
Serevi also is disappointed his side will not be able to march into camp to prepare for the first leg of the IRB 7's series in Dubai and George.
The opening leg of the IRB 7's series will kick-off in Dubai in the last week of November.
