Catholic youths from around the country are currently on crosswalk to Nadi as part of the lead up to Good Friday.
Vicar General and Lami Parish Priest Father Beni Kaloudau said the youths from parishes around Fiji started the walk on the beginning of Holy Week on Saturday adding they will reach the Ashram in Nadi this Friday.
Kaloudau said this cross walk is a symbol of what Jesus did for the world.
Christians worldwide have been through a forty day period of self sacrifice and self reflection during Lent in the build up towards Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Sunday, the time Christians believe Jesus had died on the cross to save the world and rose again in three days.
