The Fiji World Youth Day 2008 Celebrations involving thousands of Catholic youths begin around the country today.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Fiji World Youth Day Media Liaison Officer Tukini Cama said programmes organized for the three days will be similar to the ones organized in Sydney.
He added this year marks the 23rd World Youth Day as well as the 10th International World Youth Day that is currently underway in Sydney where there is a Fiji contingent.
Cama said the three day celebrations have been organized for those that could not make it across to Sydney.
