The Flying Fijian 15s rugby team cannot afford to play catch up rugby with the Manu Samoans in their last Pacific Nations Cup match on Sunday.

Former Fiji captain and Fiji Rugby Union development manager Sale Sorovaki, speaking on a talkback our sister station Viti FM last night, stressed that the Samoans will be a different side from the team that lost to Japan last Sunday.

Sorovaki said the players will have to stick to what the coaching team has mapped out and not to allow the Samoans to control the game.

He added the Fiji boys have their destiny in their hands knowing the Samoans will have an advantage playing in front of their home crowd and also trying to make amends from last week’s loss.

The Fiji team to play Samoa will be named tomorrow afternoon.

The Fiji-Samoa game kicks-off on Sunday at 3.10pm and you can get live update results from Fijivillage.
