Nasinu Magistrate Charles Ratakele has transferred the case of Jekope Rokovuki who is charged with one count of murder to the Suva High Court.
The matter will be called on the 1st of next month.
Magistrate Ratakele while transferring the case said that this is an indictable offense and only the High Court can deal with this.
Rokovuki is alleged to have murdered his wife on the 10th of this month.
The victim passed away earlier this week.
Rokovuki is to make a formal bail application in the High Court.
