The case against Flying Fijians wing Filimoni Delasau regarding assault charges was terminated by Lautoka magistrate Shafulla Khan this afternoon after he told the court that he has reconciled with the victim.

Delasau assaulted a form six student after the Fiji and New Zealand Maori game last Saturday, however he told the court that they have reconciled and that he had given the victim $70 as compensation.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Rugby Union Games Committee will look into  Filimoni Delasau's case seriously before handing down its decision on the star winger.

High Performance Unit manager Peter Murphy said they would look at the FRU's Code of Conduct before deciding whether further disciplinary action will be taken against him.
