Crusaders' pivot Daniel Carter's 22 point return from yesterday's 44 28 win over the Sharks at Twickenham has taken him to the top of the Super rugby points scorers standings.

The All Blacks first five scored a try and kicked four conversions and three penalties in London to take his points' tally to 84 after six rounds of action.

Carter, who is the competition's all-time leading scorer, heads a top 10 list for 2011 that is dominated by No 10s.

The only other New Zealander on the list is the Blues' Luke McAlister, who slots in 10th position with 50 points.

Peter Grant of the Stormers is 2nd, just one point behind Carter on 83, followed by James O'Connor of the Western Force on 80 points.

Crusaders are on a bye this week.

On Friday, the Highlanders play the Brumbies at 6.35pm and at 8.40pm Chiefs meet the Waratahs.
