One of New Zealand's most eligible bachelors will be off that list this Friday.

Injured All Black Dan Carter is tying the knot with long time partner and former Black Sticks striker Honor Dillon.

And any thoughts of the media getting a sneak peak is well off the mark as the roads surrounding the ceremony location will be closed and helicopter companies have agreed not to fly over during the event.

The couple has been together for nine years, and the smart money is that they are to be married at Timara Lodge.

The All Black first five and wife-to-be have apparently signed a deal with Australian Women's Weekly for about $50,000 for exclusive coverage.
