Bad news for All Blacks fans as Dan Carter is ruled out of this Saturday’s final test against Ireland due to a hamstring injury and will be replaced by Aaron Cruden.

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has made six changes to the side that started the 22-19 win in Christchurch, with lock Luke Romano to make his debut in place of Brodie Retallick.

Richie McCaw takes over at No8 from Kieran Read, who has been ruled out due to concussion, with Liam Messam at blindside flanker and Sam Cane on the openside in what will be his first test start.

Hosea Gear and Ben Smith will be on the wings.

Adam Thomson drops to a new look reserves bench that includes Beauden Barrett, Highlanders utility back Tamati Ellison and veteran hooker Keven Mealamu.

The All Blacks meet Ireland at 7:35pm on Saturday.
