All Blacks captain Richie McCaw and Daniel Carter may miss the next test against South Africa, to prepare for the final Tri Nations international against the Wallabies in Brisbane.
World Cup rules mean the 30 strong squad has to be chosen by August 23rd, leaving the selectors with their next test against the Springboks as their last chance to judge some candidates.
Meanwhile in the Tri-Nations series this week, Wallabies take on Springboks at 3am this Sunday.
