Nadroga team captain, Tiko Matawalu is happy that they were able to beat Suva by 35-15 yesterday in another defence of the BSP Farebrother Sullivan Trophy challenge.

Speaking after the win, Matawalu said that his team learnt a lot after the 12-all draw against Northland in the second challenge match, and this was evident in the win against Suva.

Matawalu added his boys also showed a lot of commitment during training and have been asked to maintain the momentum as they prepare to meet Tailevu in the fourth challenge next Saturday.

The soft spoken Lau native said he has told his boys that they should not rest on the games they have already played to give them the edge against Tailevu, as Tailevu is fielding a very young and unknown side.

The Nadroga versus Tailevu match kicks off at 3:30pm next Saturday at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka and you can catch a live commentary of the match on our sister station, Viti FM.
