Digicel Fiji Sevens captain Emosi Vucago had a simple message for his troops before they jetted out of Nadi this morning and that is to believe in themselves that they will win in Dubai.

Vucago said the task at hand is not an easy one for him, since he will be leading the side for the first time in his rugby career and a challenge where he will rely on experienced players in the team to support him.

The Nadali lad from Tailevu has also been eyed to handle the playmaker’s position for the first time in the IRB Sevens series and he is confident he will deliver the goods this weekend.

Meanwhile, coach Waisale Serevi said Vucago has shown a lot of improvement and maturity in his game and he is confident he will lead the side by example in Dubai.

Fiji's opening game of the IRB Sevens series in Dubai will be against USA on Friday at 7.42pm.
