All Blacks flanker Sam Cane has revealed a simple game plan on how the All Blacks can take out David Pocock in the Rugby World Cup final.
Cane said for the All Blacks, taking David Pocock out of the game is as much about using their brains as their brawn.
Pocock who was at his destructive best against Argentina in his side's 29‑15 semifinal victory at Twickenham with four breakdown turnovers, poses a major threat to the All Blacks' ability to go back‑to‑back as world champions.
Cane said they have to be clinical at breakdowns and make sure Pocock does not get comfortable in contesting the ruck.
Meanwhile All Blacks assistant coach Ian Foster was reluctant to concentrate on Pocock today ‑ saying he was one of many talented players in the Australian team.
Foster added that they will just focus on the game itself.
The All Blacks will take on the Wallabies at 5am Sunday.
