As preparations get underway to celebrate World Aids Day tomorrow, an NGO is hoping their awareness programs will change the way people living with HIV are treated.
Fiji Network For People Living with HIV Aids Program Manager, Jokapeci Tuberi Cati said the theme for tomorrow is "Universal access and human rights" and this is something they are hoping to have recognised for those living with HIV in Fiji.
Cati said they will be holding a candle light vigil tonight to kick off the celebrations.
Latest figures from the Health Ministry reveals that 303 people are confirmed to be living with HIV.
The candle light vigil will be held tonight at Sukuna Park from 6 to 9.
