The candidate earmarked to take up the post as Supervisor of Elections is yet to accept a contract offered by the Constitutional Officers Commission.
Commission Chairman Rishi Ram told Fijivillage news that after looking at the contract the candidate has put in his own proposals to seek certain variations to the contract.
It was earlier confirmed that the Interim Attorney General will have the final say on who will take up the post of Supervisor of elections after recommendations by the Constitutional Officers Commission.
