It's not a death sentence anymore and you can tackle cancer quickly by getting treatment early on.
Those were the sentiments of U.S. Vice Consul Heather Coble, saying that as a breast cancer survivor she overcame cancer by getting regular medical checks which resulted in the detection early on for her.
Speaking at the joint U.S. Embassy and International School Suva cleanup campaign of the adult and children's chemotherapy ward at the CWM, Coble said women need to understand more about cancer and know that there is treatment available.
The clean up continues today.
