The latest developments in the country have surprised 13 Canadian investors currently touring the country.
Trade commissioner to America, Jitendra Singh revealed many of them have never been in the country for the past 20 years and were surprised at the infrastructure development.
He added this has impacted positively on the investors.
The investors were also briefed by the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama on the steps being taken by the Government towards the 2014 elections.
Singh added that the investors have shown interest in a range of business opportunities such as agriculture, transportation and property development.
