Can there be friendship through culture at individual and community level?
This question was raised by Fiji National University Interim Vice Chancellor, Dr Ganesh Chand, who was the Chief Guest to mark International Students Day at Indian High Commission last night.
Speaking on creating "Friendship through Culture" Dr Chand stressed on the importance of creating awareness on culture to create friendship.
Last night also marked the 121st birth anniversary of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad who was the founder and the President of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and the Ministry of External Affairs in India.
