As stakeholders gather to discuss Fiji Economic situation, the question on whether the superannuation market in Fiji can be deregulated has once again popped up.
Suva Laywer Richard Naidu posed the question to the panelists at the Fiji 2010 Economic Update at USP yesterday.
Responding to the question, USP Economist Dr. Rohit Kishore highlighted that such moves have not worked in other countries and it would not be a good idea to allow competition against the Fiji National Provident Fund.
