If the electoral system is flawed, what can we do to change it?
That is a question put to the six speakers at the Media Forum Debate on the People's Charter last night.
For the positive team, NCBBF member and President of the Arya Prathindhi Sabha of Fiji, Kamlesh Arya said it could be done if we put our heads together and added that the Charter process provides one such avenue.
However, according to lawyer Richard Naidu, who was speaking for the negative team said it is not for us to decide to change the electoral systems as it must be done in accordance with the law.
And leader for the negative team, Doctor Warden Narsey added that a group of people cannot be allowed to make such decisions.
