This is the advice from Water Department Spokesperson Maika Nagalu on complaints of irregular water supply being highlighted in the media.
Earlier this week concerns were raised by residents in Lami, Delainavesi and Toorak about irregular water supply for the last two weeks with residents saying it makes life difficult.
The Water Department explained that for the Lami and Delainavesi areas the system needed time to recover from disruptions which would take a few days while there are plans in place for the Suva Nausori corridor water pipes which are 30 to 40 years old to be replaced.
