National Fire Authority has today advised people to call Fire Authority first in case of a fire and not the Police.
The call comes after three buildings were completely destroyed by an early morning fire in Manoca Industrial area in Nausori.
NFA Corporate Affairs Officer, Mileta Ting said the Security Officer at the building first contacted Police and not them.
Ting has also confirmed that one of their fire fighters was injured in the process of trying to put out the blaze.
NFA said Diamond Joinery, Ali's General Motors and Domino paper's buildings were completely destroyed and estimated cost of damage is around $3 to 4 million dollars.
