Over 3000 school leavers will be first in line to get employment over the next two and a half years after the Fiji Islands Trade and Investment Bureau signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Cayman-based ICT call centre business, MindPearl Ltd.
FTIB chairman Francis Narayan said Mindpearl will set up their operation at Kalabu Tax Free Zone in Nasinu and recruitment kicks off in May.
The Mindpearl Call Center is expected to be in operation by September.
Specializing in the airline industry, Mindpearl provides full contact centre facilities and services to a consortium of 11 airlines, flying globally to over 400 destinations across all time zone.
Emirates, Delta and American Airlines are amongst its clients.
