Iosefa Cakaunivalu will have the biggest fight of his life when he takes on John Decklam of Papua New Guinea for the vacant WPBE Asia Pacific Middleweight title.

The 30-year-old Lavena villager from Taveuni will leave this Saturday for PNG and he will fight on Sunday.

Cakaunivalu took up boxing in 2009 as an amateur before turning professional in 2011.

The Orepi Boxing Club member from Cunningham who has two professional fights under his belt with a win and a loss said he is happy with the deal under the Boxing Commission of Fiji.

Cakaunivalu added he earned $400 in his first fight and $600 in his second, but now he will get about $5,000 whether he wins or loses the fight.
