Digicel Fiji 7's hooker Setefano Cakau will have a big role to play in next week's Hong Kong 7's tournament.
Cakau has been ear-marked by Coach Joe Savou to take over from Semisi Naevo, who pulled out because of injury.
Savou says they faced a lot of difficulties during the kickoffs in the last four tournaments with Fiji players losing the aerial battle.
Savou says Cakau is the best choice at this stage as they have been working hard on retaining the kick offs and at the break downs.
Savou is also happy with the initiative shown by the three new players Timoci Matanavou, Jone Kuruduadua and Ratu Naisa Narukutabua.
Fiji 7s team flies out to Hong Kong on Monday. Their opening match next Friday at 9:14pm Fiji Time will be against Korea.
