Digicel Fiji 7s former captain, Setefano Cakau’s experience leadership is what the coaching staffs are after ahead of the Uprising Fiji International 7s and the next leg of the IRB 7s.

With Watisoni Votu who led the side to the Dubai and South Africa tournament leaving the side it has left a vacuum in the forwards where Cakau is the most experience player up front.

James Brown, Jimilai Nakaidawa, Nemani Nagusa and Dale Tonawai are some key players in the forwards but it is Cakau’s who have an edge as he has been around for some time.

The Namosi lad will know whether he will be in the team after his fitness test with Livai Ikanikoda and Nakaidawa on Friday.

The Uprising Fiji International 7s will be held at the TFL Stadium next Friday.
