Digicel Fiji 7s captain Setefano Cakau is aiming for a top finish in London this weekend.

Cakau stated on the IRB website that Fiji still has a slim chance of winning the series and are hoping to end the season with a win.
Fiji is 11 points behind the reigning World Series champions New Zealand in the overall standings.

With the last round kicking off tomorrow Fiji faces an uphill task in attempting to win their second World Series title.

Gordon Tietjens’ side just need a victory in a Cup quarter final, or even if they lose then a place in the Plate final will make them claim their 10th title in 13 years.

Fiji takes on Spain at 9.30pm Saturday, then Zimbabwe at 12.36am Sunday.

Fiji’s final pool match is at 5.22am against Wales on Sunday.
