Setefano Cakau will not be selected for the National Team for the next leg of the IRB Sevens Series in Wellington and San Diego, while Lemeki Duidomo has been given the go ahead.
This has been confirmed by Digicel Fiji 7's Coach Waisale Serevi after a meeting with the Fiji Rugby Union in the last hour.
This is despite the duo being named in the 15 man training squad for the IRB leg.
Serevi confirms the National Team are taking part in the BP Oil National 7s Tournament this weekend at Churchill Park while the national reserves will not be playing for their different clubs.
However, national coaching director Ilivasi tabua has also clarified that the team selection to the Dubai World Cup 7s remains open to both overseas and local based players.
The BP 7s tournament will be held this Saturday at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
