Socceroos ace Tim Cahill has encouraged NFL hopeful Jarryd Hayne to follow his dream after they spent New Years Eve together.
Cahill who is one of Hayne’s close friends and all‑time top scorer for the Australian national football team said the former Bati fullback is a legend and will take America by storm.
Meanwhile, Hayne posted on social media via Twitter “Great to catch up with Tim Cahill and the Cahill family before New Years Eve. Can't wait to dance in 2015 lucky to have my brothers next to me.”
Hayne is expected to sign a contract with the Detroit Lions after his visa is being sorted out.
