Cabinet has endorsed the utilization of the National Youth Service Scheme with its current systems and processes as one of the avenues to take in new recruits into civil service.
Education and Youth and Sports Minister Filipe Bole said the Scheme has a total registration of 6,777 young people in the database which includes those with Masters Degrees, Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates.
Bole said that with these trained young people readily available, the National Youth Service Scheme will be an appropriate window available to government to source its new recruitment in the civil service.
