Cabinet has approved an organization that will represent and safeguard the rights and interests of women.
The Fiji Women’s Federation was approved on the submissions made by Minister for Women,Dr Jiko Luveni.
Department Director Women Tokasa Leweni said that the NGO will compose of the main local NGO's in Fiij.
Leweni added that the Federation plans to fill in the gaps and assist in the affairs of the Department for women.
