Cabinet has agreed to make further concessions for the Fiji Nursing Association as it attempts to avert the nurse’s strike which is expected to commence at midnight tonight.
Interim Public Service Minister Poseci Bune has just confirmed that cabinet has made some major decisions and the ball is now in FNA's courts to make its decision.
Bune said he does not have to report to cabinet on the nurse’s decision but he is duty bound to inform the Interim Prime Minister about the talks this afternoon.
Meanwhile, FNA General Secretary Kuini Lutua has confirmed that she is currently on her way to Bune's office to have the final meeting before they decide on whether the strike will go ahead at midnight tonight.
