CWM tightlipped on Shivneet’s death
Questions surrounding the death were faxed to Losalini Tavaga which remains unanswered till now.
In the last hour, Tavaga's Personal Secretary only managed to say that a report surrounding the death of Kumar has been compiled and sent to the Health Ministries Permanent Secretary.
However, the Ministry said it has not received any report as yet.
Village News earlier spoke to Health Ministries Permanent Secretary, Dr Lepani Waqatakirewa on the issue and referred all questions to CWM hospitals General Manager.
Meanwhile, a team is being set up by the Criminal Investigations Department to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of 5 year old Kumar.
The team will be led by the Divisional Crime Officer Southern, SP Tevita Lesu.
According to police they will go through all medical records of Kumar and will also interview doctors who attended to Kumar since the first time he was taken to the CWM hospital. Shavneet's post mortem will now be conducted on Monday.
