The outpatient services at the CWM Hospital's Pediatrics Unit will stay open and not closed as earlier decided by the Hospital management.
Health Permanent Secretary Dr Sala Saketa and CWM hospital management held talks yesterday where this decision was made.
Dr Saketa yesterday solved the staffing issues and the CWM staff will have to work with staff they have and the Ministry is working on plans to supplement nursing and doctor numbers.
It was earlier decided that outpatient services at CWM's Children's Unit will be closed from next Monday due to staff shortage as many of them resigned.
