Fiji's biggest Public Hospital, the Colonial War Memorial Hospital is facing a shortage of forensic pathologists.
Director Curative Health Services Dr Ami Chandra had confirmed that they have only two pathologists in the CWM hospital however they are only specialized in only one area of work.
Dr Chandra said expatriate pathologist Dr Prashant Shambeker's contract came to an end last month and he did not wish to have his contract renewed due to family commitments.
According to Dr. Chandra they are trying their best to get an expatriate pathologist from Sri Lanka.
