From a humble beginning in the Sugarcane fields of Labasa on the 14th May, 1990, the first group of local missionaries started the Christian Mission Fellowhip, the Church this week celebrates its 20th anniversary.
More than 40,000 members from around 100 countries are celebrating the birthday of the church=s existence in a weeklong celebration at the World Harvest Centre in Kinoya.
Church spokesperson, Anasa Tawake said the members have grown since the leadership the founder and current President, Reverend Suliasi Kurulo.
The Christian Mission Fellowship Church will be celebrating her 20th year of anniversary at the World Harvest Center from the 2nd of May to the 7th of May 2010.
The climax of the celebration will be the opening of her new Christian Mission Fellowship Primary School up at Natuvukica Road in the Tacirua sub division tomorrow.
