A team is being set up by the Criminal Investigations Department to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of 5 year old Shavneet Kumar.
The team will be led by the Divisional Crime Officer Southern, Superitendant Tevita Lesu.
According to police they will go through all medical records of Kumar and will also interview doctors who attended to Kumar since the first time he was taken to the CWM hospital.
The parents of Shavneet have also being interviewed in relation to the death this morning.
Meanwhile, Shavneet's post mortem will now be conducted on Monday.
According to police the pathologist at the CWM hospital is on sick leave.
