The Criminal Investigations Department is still awaiting the military's legal unit to approach them on when the solider implicated in the Nimilote Verebasaga's murder case will be charged.

Director CID, Superitendant Waisea Vakamocea confirms that they are also awaiting the military advice on whether the solider will appear in a criminal court or court martial.

Vakamocea has also revealed that they are trying their best to complete their investigations and produce the soldier in court.

Attempts to get comments from the military proved futile.

Meanwhile, the DPP has given the Sakiusa Rabaka file back to police for further investigations.

Six soldiers and a police officer have been implicated in the brutal killing of Rabaka in January this year.
