A team of officers from the CID headquarters are currently at the Fiji Television office to confiscate some tapes and interviews that were aired on the Fiji One News last week.

Police have confirmed that Suva Lawyer Rajendra Chaudhry made some alleged inciteful comments in his interview that was aired after the Close Up programme was recorded.

It is alleged that Fiji One played parts of the interview.

Meanwhile, Fiji TV's Manager Legal Services, Taina Waqanika told Fijivillage that the master copy of the recorded Close Up program is still with the police.

When contacted this morning, Deputy Director CID, SP Adi Sen said that they have not returned the master copy to Fiji TV because investigations are ongoing.

SP Sen also could not confirm on when lawyer Rajendra Chaudhry and Close Up host Anish Chand will be interviewed.
