A team of CID Officers and the Dog Unit confiscated cash and more than two plastic bags of dried leaves believed to be marijuana after an early morning raid in the Western Division.

Police raided a house in Tauvegavega Ba and found two plastic bags and 5-6 brunches of dried leaves believed to be marijuana which has the street value of about $6000. Police have also confiscated cash.

Meanwhile another team of CID and the Dog Unit officers also raided a house in Waiyavi Lautoka where they found 7 plastic bags of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

It is alledged that the suspect tried to bribe one of the officers during the raid. He has been taken into Police Custody.
