Communications Fiji Limited, the parent company of Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang, Sargam and Fiji Village.com has recorded an increased profit for the first six months of this year.
Managing Director William Parkinson said the company made a profit of $342,457 in comparison to $238,748 for the same period last year.
Parkinson added performance of CFM's Fiji broadcasting operations remain strong.
In Papua New Guniea, CFM's subsidiary PNG FM faced a challenging first six months.
Parkinson said the inflation rate is also pushing costs up and that is impacting on the bottom line.
