Communications Fiji Limited, the parent company of FM96, Legend FM, Viti FM, Radio Navtarang and Sargam is confident of yet another strong performance this year.
At a brokers briefing held this morning at the Reserve Bank, CFL Managing Director William Parkinson said the group profit last year was $1.4 million and indications are that there will be an increase in the profit at the end of this financial year.
Parkinson revealed that CFL also had strong growth in radio revenue in Fiji this year.
He said the company has also committed $1.5 million to upgrading radio transmission, including replacement of masts at Lololo and general upgrade of transmission across the country.
Parkinson added that the upgrades are done using the company's existing cash flow and has reiterated that no loan has been taken for these projects.
