Communications Fiji Limited has started its nationwide appeal and walk today for people severely affected by Tropical Cyclone Winston.
The Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang and Radio Sargam teams are based at a number of centres today to collect cash donations for the people severely affected by Tropical Cyclone Winston.
Personalities from our five radio stations have also started walking from Nausori to Suva to collect funds.
They are now passing Koronivia.
They will walk along the Kings Road to Ratu Dovi Road, Nabua, Grantham Road, Milverton road, Brown Street and end at the home of Legend FM at 231 Waimanu Road.
We are also based outside Lautoka’s Jolly Good Restaurant, next to Nadi’s Raniga Jewellers, outside Tappoos Sigatoka, at Hansons in Makoi today.
Our personalities are also at Rups Nausori and Suva’s Tappoo City, and we are also at Labasa’s Hotel Takia Arcade from today.
You can also bring your cash donations to the home of Fijivillage at 231 Waimanu Road.
Cash donations can also be made to the Communications Fiji Limited Westpac Appeal Account 9800 935 794.
All cash donations collected will then be coordinated through the National Disaster Management Office to assist those in urgent need of food, water and shelter.
CFL produces new song for nationwide radio appeal
Communications Fiji Limited, the parent company of Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang and Radio Sargam has produced a new song for the nationwide radio appeal for the people severely affected after Tropical Cyclone Winston.
The song is called Fiji Together As One.
It focuses on all of us rising above the storm and standing together as one to help our fellow Fijians.
