Communications Fiji Limited, the parent company of Legend FM, FM96, Viti FM, Navtarang and Sargam and fijivillage.com has today announced that the Company will pay an Interim Dividend of 3 cents per share to its shareholders.
CFL Managing Director, William Parkinson said the Company has performed well both here in Fiji and in Papua New Guinea.
Parkinson adds that the Board's intention is to restore dividend levels to 6 cents with a final dividend payment of 3 cents to be announced once financial reporting is finalized for this year.
Parkinson said considering the circumstances post December 5th, advertising levels have held up adding that this is also a tribute to the hard work put in by the team at CFL.
After a good year, going into 2008, Parkinson said the Company will take things as they come.
CFL Chairman, Hari Punja said the company is performing well and expects to achieve forecast results as previously announced in September, of a profit of just over 900 thousand dollars after tax.
