Communications Fiji Ltd during its Annual General Meeting today highlighted that the organization was able to achieve 96% growth in profit for 2008.
The group which comprises of Legend FM, FM 96, Navtarang, Radio Sargam, Viti FM, Fiji Village.com, Total Event Company, Unwired Fiji Ltd as well as PNG FM Ltd, in 2008 recorded an operating group profit of $864 thousand 220 dollars for 2008, compared to $440 thousand 806 dollars for 2007.
Managing Director William Parkinson said they were also able to increase dividend payouts to 8 cents per share. He adds the growth is attributed to good advertising revenue.
